National Sales Manager


This role will analyze sales data to develop and implement effective sales strategies to further grow the Australian business. The National Sales Manager will lead our high performing sales team, providing coaching and support, identify new business opportunities, and establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, key clients and potential customers.

Day to day you will:
• Work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement the sales strategy Analyse sales data and insights to forecast, set financial incentives and make sales decisions in line with projected growth targets
• Lead, inspire and manage the National Sales Team, communicating key strategic priorities and deliverables, driving sales performance and monitoring pipeline and revenue progress across the sales team
• Research marketplace, competition, and trends to identify potential customers and new market opportunities, developing relationships with key leads
• Conduct outbound new business calls, attend trade fairs and proactively represent Maker & Son in a broad range of networking activities
• Work collaboratively with the Operations and Production teams to ensure efficiencies in logistics, sales and administrative processes
• Maximise incoming sales enquiries, qualifying leads, establishing customer relationships and conducting effective face-to-face mobile showroom visits, assisting and covering Mobile Showroom Managers when required Manage the sales process through to a close, creating quotes and invoices in Xero for customers and taking payment
• Lead by example by delivering exceptional customer service, solving problems and maintaining strong customer relationships providing great after care service
• Facilitate effective sales team meetings and actively participate in leadership team meetings

Finance Manager


This role will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance operations, preparation of accounts, financial analysis and reporting to the General Manager. The role also requires forecasting and budgeting, Payroll and GST functions, and providing accurate and timely financial support to the Australian business.

Day to day duties and responsibilities:
• Work closely with the General Manager, tracking the company's financial position and performance, identifying areas for improvement and making formal recommendations to support financial returns and ongoing business growth
• Lead a small finance team, managing the day-to-day financial activities across the business including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, BAS and all financial analysis.
• Manage the month end process including completion of the General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations and producing the P&L statements
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting function, undertake financial data analysis
•Review financial performance and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Provide commentary and analysis around the company’s performance
• Identify potential financial risks, develop strategies to minimize impact of such risks and present these to the leadership team
• Liaise with Australian and New Zealand accountant Prepare financial records for auditing
• Contract external services for banking, investments, auditing and other financial needs as necessary
• Understand and adhere to all financial regulations and legislation and ensure internal procedures are efficient and compliant
• Manage the company’s finance systems
• Facilitate effective finance team meetings and actively participate in leadership team meetings

The successful candidate will be the single point of contact coordinating all post-sale customer communication.

On a day to day basis you will:
• Liaise with the production team and monitor the purchase order management system to confirm the status of orders and completion dates
• Ensure all orders are up to date and next steps for order progression and customer communication is clear
• Manage the post-sale communication process, implementing improvements and automations in the CRM system
• Liaise with customers over the phone and via email, requesting and finalizing payments
• Communicate confidently with customers displaying empathy and diplomacy when there may be challenges with the manufacturing process resulting in a delayed orders Inform Sales Consultants of any manufacturing issues
• Use social media to promote products and liaise with customers

On a day to day basis you will:
• Liaise with the production team and monitor the purchase order management system to confirm the status of orders and completion dates
• Ensure all orders are up to date and next steps for order progression and customer communication is clear
• Manage the post-sale communication process with customers, communicating confidently and displaying empathy and diplomacy when changes with the manufacturing process result in delivery date changes
• Liaise regularly with Sales Consultants ensuring they are aware of any manufacturing issues, product delays or inventory changes Request, process and finalize customer payments Source freight quotes working within time and cost targets
• Maintain data within the CRM system, updating the status of orders and implementing system improvements and automations where needed
• Use social media to promote our products and liaise with our customers
