Morphing from a colour preconceived to be feminine - perhaps best kept in the nursery - to a hue of universal appeal, pink has gone post-pretty in our homes. There's no colour to rival pink for serving a calming, cosy vibe, as many pandemic redecorators discovered. Pink's popularity hasn't flagged for half a decade, since Rose Quartz was named as one of Pantone's colours of the year in 2016.
